no problem with Sol. he left at half time, and was seen eating waffles in Belgium the next day.
he clearly had a lot going on in his head

The events were similar, but the people and motives were different.

Hleb was an opportunist and Fabregas was going after something he'd wanted pretty much his entire life. He was obsessed by playing for Barca before Arsenal were ever on his radar.

Might not make a difference to everyone but it does to me.

I don't care about his motivations, just his actions. I'd rather have a player driven by money who acts like a consummate professional than someone upsetting the whole camp, dragging out these sagas and generally acting like a cunt because he's driven by his love for another clubs (that he'll give up on on 3 years later).

You seem to put a lot of weight on an irrelevant couple of weeks at the end of one season then. It always seemed like a moral thing before ... ?

I think it's just personal with players. For some reason Cesc never gave me the shits the way some others did.

Oh I massively dislike Hleb but apart from getting caught with Inter reps its pretty much the same or even less than how Fabregas engineered his move away.

If Hleb had pushed for a move back to BATE is belarus then fair enough. He cunted out and got stung real bad, totally finished him as a footballer and ensured he made less money and had less of a career. He will never really be remembered by anyone in few years.

That is a moral thing. Players can seek transfers in a professional way, whether they want them for money or for whatever reason Cesc wanted to go to Barca isn't the issue. Its how you behave to get the move. Nasri made a cunt of himself after his move but frankly he behaved entirely professional before the move, he had one more year and told us he'd do the year if we wanted or we could cash in then. Fabregas signed a massive long term deal with us, changed his mind and acted like a cunt until he got what he wanted. Highly unprofessional.

And then back on topic. We have Sagna. Been a great servant for 7 years, he's out of contract, he's free to join a new club. Great pro, great guy, I wish him well.

By all accounts Sagna is off to City.

So why is the move taking so long?

Yeah, I agree with this. Some are easier to forgive though. I would find it easier to get over Cesc's supposed strike than RVP's public statement for example.

I'm by and large indifferent to most ex players once they move on, especially to English clubs. Wishing him well counts as what? Hoping he gets a trophy with City, a league winners medal to crown his career? I certainly don't wish him that.

Tbh who should even be in a seriously hated ex-players camp?

RvP is 1st, obviously by a country mile.
Cole second?
Nasri third? For not keeping his mouth shut afterwards. I actually had no problem with the way he acted before he was sold.
Then maybe Cesc, depending on if the strike talk was true or not, but the fact is he did go to Spanish GP. Then again Cesc is about the only guy out of the whole lot who is still loved by many too.

And then there's a bunch of guys who were rather sold because a) they were not part of the plans anymore b) they indicated they would not extend and rather move elsewhere c) profit from selling them was too good to turn down d) they were past it etc etc. Clichy, Ade, Toure, Hleb, Song, Eduardo, Henry, Vieira ...

I'd say:

1) Cole
2) RVP
3) Ade
4) Hleb

No beef personally with any of the rest.

Wheres? Gallas???

And What did Ade do apart from stomp on Van Persie which I'm sure we can all forgive now.

Anyway, don't see what this topic has to do with Sagna who has acted with nothing but loyalty and professionalism throughout his career.

Ade openly whored himself out around Europe, to Milan in particular iirc. Plus his celebration in front of the Arsenal fans when he was with city.

Ade should be top of the list above even Cashley.

Bah- whored himself, they're all whores.
And celebrated in front of the fans that abused him and insulted his mother- Boohoo, if you give it out your have to be able to take it.

Cole is, and always will be, the top cunt. Fucking hate that chavvy wanker.

the least of his offenses

Rumour that his deal to City will be announced today, so guess we should expect more meltdown from Arsenal fans 😉

Football is so shit. Fully expecting Pires to become assistant manager at Tottenham now.

Didn't used to be like that though Patters. If we can win a major title, the old version of normality will be restored.

I wonder if City might use him as a centre back, because he will be warming the bench if he thinks he will take Zabaleta's spot.
