RvP is 1st, obviously by a country mile.
Cole second?
Nasri third? For not keeping his mouth shut afterwards. I actually had no problem with the way he acted before he was sold.
Then maybe Cesc, depending on if the strike talk was true or not, but the fact is he did go to Spanish GP. Then again Cesc is about the only guy out of the whole lot who is still loved by many too.

And then there's a bunch of guys who were rather sold because a) they were not part of the plans anymore b) they indicated they would not extend and rather move elsewhere c) profit from selling them was too good to turn down d) they were past it etc etc. Clichy, Ade, Toure, Hleb, Song, Eduardo, Henry, Vieira ...

I'd say:

1) Cole
2) RVP
3) Ade
4) Hleb

No beef personally with any of the rest.

Fair enough Sagna if he wants to leave.

But I'm sorry this move will cost you being an Arsenal legend.

Your loss mate.

Part of the reason he didn't leave during his contract is cos there was never as much interest in him as there were cesc rvp and co

You're being amazingly petty.

😆

May I suggest that after Sagna signs his contract with another club you put the request that this thread be moved in writing to the moderation panel, supplying evidentiary documents as an appendix.

I think Sagna should permanently be in the Arsenal section just like Henry!

Loyal servant to the club and got fucked over by a poor contract from his agent taking him through to the wrong age here for a big paycheck.

He has been a constant quality RB through playing with utter dogshit defenders around him and it is a shame the best defence he played in he is now leaving.

Thanks for the years Sagna. Have long felt he was the only post Invincibles player we had who would have improved that starting 11. Deserves one last big pay day and some trophies. As long as he doesn't go to United or Spurs than it's all good.

Have no love. This guy didn't go anywhere because his legs were broken for two seasons. Those complaining about Fabregas leaving while under contract, how would you have felt if he had run down his contract and just left? RVP too that's 60m pounds we wouldn't have in the bank. This cat has been critical of Wenger just like everyone who left. The only differences is his circumstances

How did Hleb behave worse than Fabregas?

Objectively it wasn't worse, but I can understand Fabregas' reasons and motivations on a personal level.

i was so used to his hair, that it seemed perfectly normal..now looking at it, i find it odd again 😐

We are also losing the hottest wag in our team.....ludivine 🙁

Bullshit.

Those complaining about Fabregas leaving while under contract, how would you have felt if he had run down his contract and just left?

He would still be here, if that was the case.

He went to meet Inter to engineer a move with three years left on his contract, and when he got caught he couldn't even fess up so he invented some story about going out for ice cream in the middle of the night. Then he deliberately got himself suspended during the run-in of the same season to not risk any injuries when the summer window was approaching. After that he threatened to use the Webster ruling to force a move.

Hleb was a horrid piece of work. The way his career took a nosedive has given me so much joy to watch from a distance. I'll pop a bottle of champagne the day he retires.

Oh I massively dislike Hleb but apart from getting caught with Inter reps its pretty much the same or even less than how Fabregas engineered his move away.

The events were similar, but the people and motives were different.

Hleb was an opportunist and Fabregas was going after something he'd wanted pretty much his entire life. He was obsessed by playing for Barca before Arsenal were ever on his radar.

Might not make a difference to everyone but it does to me.

agree with what you say there, Burns.

generally, i'm fine with players leaving. each player will leave for a sightly different reason, but inevitably they are driven by two things: money and/or trophies. i don't care about each individual case a whole lot. everyone of you on this forum has changed jobs, and many of you are currently considering changing jobs. more power to you, more power to the players

the problem lies at an aggregate player. Wenger keeps losing players. to City, United, Barca. it doesn't matter. he keeps losing players and fails to replace them. that's our problem. not Sagna or Fabregas.

What about Campbell walking off at half time, being released after promising to go abroad, only to sign for Portsmouth? 🙂

I still love Sol btw...
