Indeed, the legacy matters too I think - the next generation of Arsenal fans will hear about Auba's exploits and know that he's associated with Arsenal like Wrighty is today. Probably just me being bitter but I've always wondered whether squandering his Arsenal legacy was worth it for van Persie in return for exactly 1 medal.
Not you being bitter a very legit question. In my mind it's not worth it, but it saya lot about the person - class self worth, need for external objects, identifying with values, loyalty, etc. being a man among people. VP was always a low life, one could hardly be surprised then, and not starnge in hind sight either.
