He's raising some valid points that have been well covered here since last season and beyond.

Creativity has been a problem this season, even in the early stages before the injuries to Saka and Odegaard really bit. We didn't look the same team and had a sluggish start to the season. It is a valid question about whether teams have learned to adapt to our style in the past couple of years. There may be an element to that, but I the main issues come from within, whether it's form, fitness or workload asked of the players.

Fitness and injuries is another issue. The Saka v Salah point is again something else that might illustrate a problem with the demands Arteta places on the team. Saka is one of the sharpest players in the world, but rather than use him to his full potential Arteta's vision and style demands a lot from him defensively. We've discussed for seasons the merits of having a capable back up to spell him at the end of games or rest him in others. Is the cumulative workload he gets through having an impact on both our creativity and his own fitness? Salah will play more minutes, but he might not get through the same intensity of work that Saka does. Is that a problem that Arteta needs to address, and is it also a sign that his approach isn't the best for the tools at his disposal?

Anyway, what a night. I could scarcely believe I was watching Arsenal score two goals. I was incredulous by the time it finished.

      The general theme of the last two seasons is that it feels like the first goal is always the hardest one to score.

In 2011 we were completely shit and showed little ambition in the transfer markets and Cesc wanted to leave for his boyhood club, hardly a crime. Plus where they were in their respective careers and ages was totally different.

            Tam he rarely praises us when we do well but when we in a bad situation he puts the foot in and goes in, so obvious. Probably jealous of Artera as Titi hasn’t done anything of any note as a coach. I can see right through it.

                Exactly. Henry actually won things and was in the twilight of his career. Fabregas left as soon as he turned 24 with his best years ahead of him with no guarantee of being a starter for Barcelona

                  Those of us who have followed Arsenal long enough know exactly what Henry is. A legend on the pitch for us but when it was his time to be the leader and look after the ones coming through, we all know what happened. His treatment of Reyes was a disgrace. Henry is a PR merchant, always tries to make himself look good but sometimes the mask slips...

                      Yes very different. Henry stayed an extra season, he'd given us his best years, he talked with Wenger like an adult and left on good terms. He is an invinvicible. Was a key man in winning 2 league titles and 3 cups. He has a big statue outside the Emirates.

                      Fabregas fucked Wenger and wanted out immediately. Went on strike. Wore the club that were chasing hims jersey publicly. Tanked his transfer value. Won one cup here that had very little to do with him. Joined Chelsea.

                              Qwiss one hundo. cesc is an irredeemable snake, and imo he is the king of weaselly PR merchants. bitched to get his dream club move and when it didn't go his way went and won titles for jose. fuck him. Henry said nothing wrong in that clip anyway. we were playing shite with saka, havertz and martinelli available, so he right about there being deeper issues than the injury crisis

                                  Its mad to me that people will turn on one of the biggest legends the clubs has ever had, probably the best player to every pull on a red and white shirt just because he was mildly critical of the current manager.

                                  It reminds me of reddit where I've seen people say things like "Merson hates Arsenal" because he wont just praise everything that goes. Or "Lee Dixon wants City to win and Arsenal to lose" because he's asking for to go and win things.

                                  You don't have to agree with everything a former player says about the current team but have a bit of respect for the greats of this club.

                                    Qwiss when it comes down to it, Henry’s given me more happy memories being an Arsenal fan than Arteta has. Simple as that really.

                                          Mirth I like Arteta, liked him as a player, like him now as a manager but I fucking love Henry.

                                          I also hate this idea that the current team is beyond criticism. Henry's points are fair and have been made by a lot of people. I don't fully agree with him about our creativity being the issue but its a reasonable discussion I've had with people in real life and on here.

                                              Qwiss Arsenal super legend or not, what are Henry’s credentials as a manager to be super critical of Arteta?

                                              The Frenchman wouldn’t be able to last more than 2 months as our manager. There is a reason he is a full time pundit now. Got sacked from his boyhood club (who are in a famers league).

                                              Everyone can be an armchair manager. Can Henry stand in Arteta’s shoes with the amount of pressure, spotlight and expectations you have being the boss of one of the biggest clubs in Europe? I doubt it. Put some respect on Arteta’s name.

                                              Arteta and Cesc will have greater managerial careers than the Frenchman.
