HomeSteak have to see how the season pans out, innit? Personally, I would find it very difficult to be cross with anything in the vicinity of last season. Obviously something around 80 points would require a trophy to make us all feel better.

So that leaves us the cups, he has an abysmal record in Europe, so he needs to fix that, we are not winning the CL anytime soon. So that leaves the internal cups for him. He has a bad record there as well, but he needs to fix that.

Our quarter-final exit last season was par with the Invicible's, so definitely about standard for Arsenal actually.

We've won the Cup Winners Cup and Intercity Fairs Cup (predecessor to the Uefa Cup/Europa League). Not a lot to shout about.

RocktheCasbah Well his EL League record for sure was bad. His CL you are right, was on par with the shit Wenger served for years.

He has earned this new contract, in my eyes(I would have gone for 2 years + option for one more but ok), but his next one should be subject to us winning us the league or CL. Cups are nice but thats not our ceiling, not that he seems to be interested in them.
