Also in that case you didn't risk a thing, and all cards are on the table;
and also - what if Madrid are simply late - what if the 35 mil bid is simply accepted (first come first served)? sometimes initiative and timing are all that matters.
Luis la biter Suarez
Whoever put the Suarez bid story out there is obviously credible enough for the more reliable media sources to report it as having happened.
They even reported on radio news just now and normally they never really mention transfer rumour or speculation.
Somebody somewhere wants somebody to believe we're chasing Suarez ?
Or maybe they've all been duped.
Very bizarre story.
There was a rush of bets on Suarez and so the herd mentality took over, same sort of thing happens at the stock exchanges and on the Serengeti plains.
Of course there is the possibility that we did really bid for him.
Just can't get my head around that.

(Arsenal) Arrogant pricks think theyre better and bigger than us. I
ll take that much more satisfaction in beating them this season.
I know he's a lunatic scumbag but there's a funny side to it all

We should stick a £2mill bid in for Cazorla.
Dumbasses
This is all quite clearly a double, quadruple bluff to the power of 9 in our long term play for that 17 year old Ukranian wunderkind who plays for Shaktar Donetsk's reserves. Clear as fucking day and you morons can't even see it. Retards.
Pray it's not real because what's the point in someone who's guaranteed to be suspended for at least a third of every season? Fucks sake. We may not be successful on the pitch anymore but the one thing we still have and always have had is class. Victory comes from harmony and all that. If we start signing players like Rooney and Suarez then even that's gone.
They should change it to "top 4 comes from harmony".

Latest from the grassy knoll: it was all about encouraging a betting plunge. Seems quite plausible actually. Pick something that wouldn't happen in a blue moon, like Suarez to Arsenal, and then say it's unbackable.

careful, you saw what happened when ivanovic lost a similar bet

I concur with my esteemed antipodian colleague.
I witness the concordance of my ex-Hibernian fellow with the frisson of relish concomitant to all negligible serendipities.
Suarez: "It's good to know that I am still valued by teams like Arsenal. Friends call me to ask if I'm moving to Chelsea, I laugh.”

Over the past 5 years, i have always thought we could do with a couple of runts in our team, but Rooney and Suarez? F'kin ell!!!
Been a while since we had a player who misses at least a quarter of a season due to behavioural problems.

There was a rumour we used to practice playing with 10 men back in those days
It was hilarious when Vieira was constantly being sent off and we kept winning, regardless.
Can you imagine the fuss this cunt will kick up when Madrid or Barca come calling? Will put Adebayor to shame.
If they are not seriously in for him this window those 2 won't be signing him again
Times saying he wants to come. How long is his ban again?
doubt we're really in for him, but he's a terrific player.
