Only thing I'd worry about is putting him on high wages for the role we'd want him to have
Loic Remy
waste of time and money
5 in 7 for a qp freaking r
He's going to end up with a similar league tally to giroud having played half a season
He's good. Don't know why peeps don't think he is
Yep, for 4 million he's a bargain as a back up.
we dont need backup
Once we clear out the deadwood we will. He's better than what we've got anyway.
I wouldn't say no, but we can and should do better.
I wouldn't mind him replacing Chamakh and competing with Giroud for minutes, providing we sign a quality first choice striker.
That's not how we roll though.

In a 1 striker system we can't really rotate 3 strikers, they won't get enough minutes. Remy would get minutes out wide though.
For the striker situation the best thing would be to have a new main striker, Giroud as backup, and a youngster as third choice (with Podolski, Theo, and Gervinho also being able to cover).
Would folk rather remy or Benteke?
This guy is better than Giroud thats for sure.
He is basically what D.Cisse was supposed to be if he had a footballing brain and not so injury prone.
I know its a cliche, but he does remind of a raw Thierry Henry circa 1998 albeit a little older.
I would prefer Remy over Benteke, I want someone with pace to lead the line.
Not watched enough of either them really, from what I have seen I think I'm swaying towards Remy.
If he's not greedy we could rescue him for a reasonable sum from QPR
We already have too many semi-strikers on our books that nobody will buy off us.
We need to get rid of Chamakh, Bendtner and Park. Remy is an upgrade on anyone of those three.
Personally I'd love Lukaku but I don't see Chelsea selling him to us.
We should be aiming for top quality. Remy is not that. Benteke should be more of a target. David Villa.
It was a great finish today but then so was Lowton's goal.
Don't see why we couldn't get Remy and Villa if we rid ourselves of the limpets.
The whole point about Remy is that he may be reasonably priced for a goalscorer with PL experience.
A good squad option.
In reality we'll only buy one striker though.
I genuinely don't understand why anyone wants Villa...
He's old, recently broke his leg, has never played outside of spain, and would cost a fortune in wages.
If we sign him, he'll be Arshavin all over again, good for a season at most and then we'll be burdened with his extortionate wages and crap performances due to physical decline.
