Our collapse aside, what on earth are we gonna do next season? Our two goalkeepers are somewhere around 100 years old in total. We got King, Gallas and Nelsen at the back, all crooks. Our only striker of some quality is on loan. We don't have cover for our two full-backs or wingers, and Modric is gone this summer. The re-sale value of our fringe players have gone down dramatically, and there's no way we can afford to buy at least one new goalkeeper, a new CB pair and two new strikers who can keep us up there among the best teams, not to mention cover for the aforementioned positions.
Wasn't that long ago Spurs fans were bragging about having the second best squad in the league and completely overtaking us!
Seriously, what are they going to do?

Except it was Vermaelen who got mugged by Drogba and Toure before him.
Gallas was worse today than I've ever seen him look. Both him and King were like deer caught in headlights every time Drogba got the ball. Quite bizarre really when you consider Drogba could barely run himself.
Gallas played Drogba very well in the league game between the sides at the Bridge a few weeks ago. But as far as big games goes, this was Gallas's worst ever game.
Vermaelen is a good player but really needs to improve his 'big game' capabalities. His performance against Milan away was shocking to say the least.
Hope Chelsea beat Liverpool as long as they get knocked out by Barca and finish 5th, fair compromise I reckon.
Reality is, if we start talking about defenders who haven't been mugged by Drogba, we'll have a list of maybe 2-3 players at best and they all play at ManU.
Still funny watching it.

Every season at this time of year it's like Arsenal fans are making mathematical equations.
"Let's hope this team above us loses this amount of points or this other team gains x amount of points to finish ahead of Spurs".
"Let's hope X team knocks out Y team because I don't want this other English team (Y) to win the Champions League title"
2008-09 season was exactly like that once we went out to United. This season it's like that for the FA Cup and in particular, Chelsea and Liverpool. We don't either club to get too much of a boost.
