Since the late 60s economic figures conclusively show that a huge chunk of relative wealth has been redistributed from the bourgeoisie (or "battlers" as we now know them here :) up to a tiny elite of a small fraction of 1% of the population.
Meanwhile, the middle class still gullibly blames the poor, the government and the immigrant population for its problems, and to question this redistribution has become "class warfare" ... the contradictions are breathtaking at every turn. If you can run with this shit and hit home runs, god knows how things will ever right themselves.
