Given that endorsement the crowd were always going to be overwhelmingly vocal in their targetting of Evra.
If the official line from Liverpool had been to condemn Suarez the majority of the crowd would have rowed in behind that too.

I don't think there's anything wrong with them booing Evra - he's a horrible little shit and he deserves every bit of it. Black, white or purple.

I won't argue that Evra is in any way a likeable character but given what had gone on it'd probably have been better not to boo him until he actually did something despicable during the game.

The reason for them booing makes it wrong.

Don't be daft, Ricky. You know better than that. United players always get booed at Anfield but they usually don't get singled out. The reason the whole stadium booed Evra today was because of the Suarez incident.

I felt nothing but joy when Evra fucked up for Kuyt to score. That´s one thing. The Pool crowd should have shut the fuck up today if they had any decency. They obviously don´t so that´s that.

If it was Welbeck I'd say it was shameful singling him out that way, but Evra is an utter cunt that has made a habit over the years of talking in just about the most disrespectful way possible about anyone and everyone - Liverpool included. He gets special treatment at the Emirates because of his big gob and small brain, and he has said similar things that have riled Liverpool fans through the years.
