If any of our players said racist shit like that there is no way I could support that player. I´d want him to fuck off from my club as fast as possible. Even if we are talking RVP or TH14 here. I don´t think I am alone in that.
Suarez banned for eight games
There are Liverpool fans who think this affair is ridiculous as well, let's be fair - there are plenty of retarded people around regardless of who you support.
However, I wouldn't expect Arsenal or any other establishment to handle the affair so poorly.
Rex: You're not. I wouldn't defend it either.
Lukazan wrote:I don't think fans of any other side (yes, even ours) would have reacted any differently and I think it'd be ridiculous to suggest otherwise. Found the thread about it on redcafe hilarious.
I realise that part of the stands would boo the player who reported it, but this was basically the entire Anfield. I don't think that would happen at Arsenal. And in any case it's irrelevant - it's still not acceptable.
It was the official club reaction to the whole incident that set the tone, they supported Suarez and therefore excused and condoned his actions.
Given that endorsement the crowd were always going to be overwhelmingly vocal in their targetting of Evra.
If the official line from Liverpool had been to condemn Suarez the majority of the crowd would have rowed in behind that too.
Pathetic behaviour from all concerned.
Too true Y va. That whole club has acted extremely poorly in this whole affair.
I don't think there's anything wrong with them booing Evra - he's a horrible little shit and he deserves every bit of it. Black, white or purple.
I won't argue that Evra is in any way a likeable character but given what had gone on it'd probably have been better not to boo him until he actually did something despicable during the game.
The reason for them booing makes it wrong.

The problem isn't that they happen to boo the cunt, it's why they do it.
Like when Stoke fans boo Ramsey.
He'd get booed at Anfield regardless, precisely because he's a horrible cunt. Just as he does as the Emirates and at most away grounds.
I bet you he got booed in the League game before this whole shit storm happened, too.
Don't be daft, Ricky. You know better than that. United players always get booed at Anfield but they usually don't get singled out. The reason the whole stadium booed Evra today was because of the Suarez incident.
I felt nothing but joy when Evra fucked up for Kuyt to score. That´s one thing. The Pool crowd should have shut the fuck up today if they had any decency. They obviously don´t so that´s that.
If it was Welbeck I'd say it was shameful singling him out that way, but Evra is an utter cunt that has made a habit over the years of talking in just about the most disrespectful way possible about anyone and everyone - Liverpool included. He gets special treatment at the Emirates because of his big gob and small brain, and he has said similar things that have riled Liverpool fans through the years.
Fuck him, he's no victim. He's just a horrible little shit that hasn't earned any respect from anyone.
By endorsing the booing of Evra today you are basically endorsing what Suarez did. That ain´t right.
Well it's good to know at least that fans like this guy have been marked out and that the police are looking for him.
I hope that wanker gets the book thrown at him.
It makes my blood boil looking at that. Wanker. Fucking outrageous.
You don´t think booing Evra helped to bring that shit out? You think he was the only one?
Btw - that's completely different from booing a player you dislike intensely for reasons totally separate from the colour of his skin. That's just shameful. Worse than that even. How do people like him get through their days in the 21st century when they have an attitude like that to people with different colour skin?
He is a closet racist who was encouraged by the intense booing. Simple.
People like him are oblivious to any appeals to reason.
Blind, ignorant, angry, hostile - there is no penetrating that mentality.
Humble Rex wrote:You don´t think booing Evra helped to bring that shit out? You think he was the only one?
I think you're quite within your rights to boo Patrice Evra the footballer and football personality, and not be accused of in any way enticing or encouraging fuckwits like him. That prick is responsible for his own actions and his own ignorance.
The undercurrent of racism in this country really makes me sad. When situations crop up in my world I'm always shocked, and some times it's people I have known for a while that will say or do something that absolutely flaws me. It's all just so mental.

You're still missing the point. Evra didn't get booed by the entire Anfield because he's Patrice Evra. He got booed because Suarez is suspended for eight games because of him. Nothing would make me happier than seeing that cuntish dwarf break a leg but his personality is a separate issue here. You've still got that Fbtz login. Feel free to backtrack through their archives and compare the treatment he's received on Anfield during past seasons to the treatment he received today.
I understand what you're saying, Klaus, I just think it's a little unfair on most of the Liverpool fans because Evra would have got a bucket load of abuse regardless. I'm sure that was upped another 20% because of the idiots that were motivated by the Suarez incident, like the tosser pictured above, but Evra would have been singled out anyway - because he's horrid.
Isn't it a little unfair on the fans who dislike Evra for who he is now just because of the racism incident? I would still boo him because I dislike him though, not because hes black.
IF Terry is found guilty in a court of law for racially having abused Anton Ferdinand - Does that mean he has also played his last match for England? Would the FA dare to make such a player eligible for selection?
Clrnc wrote:I would still boo him because I dislike him though, not because hes black.
No one boos him because he's black!
Thats okay Clarence, you can still just boo him because he's a cunt.

He's not exactly the pinnacle of physical perfection himself is he......
No, he's not.
The Merseyside police have arrested him for questioning.
He's 59 and from North Wales.

Truly, self reflection is the greatest ability a person can have, to hold up a mirror and look into our souls.
Nela wrote:An ITK on Rawk posted long before yesterday's game that the team were going to wear Suarez T-shits. Cue Liverpool fans pumping their chests, "I could cry," YNWA stuff. Then one poster actually posted this as a serious suggestion.
i have a very efective idea can someone pass it to those in the know. ITK!!!
just before kick off when the cameras are on, the team forms a circle chain chanting very loudly, "NEGRITO! NEGRITO! NEGRITO!
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"
this all ends with a loud "we willl never walk alone!" war cry from all the players1

I could not stop laughing. How could a fan be so stupid. To be fair, most of the responses were pretty hillarious mocking the guy for posting it. And that mocking was just about the only bit of sanity I've seen from Liverpool fans over the past 24 hours.
How the fuck have I only just seen this.
Brilliant, isn't it.
Still hilarious.
Love it. Needs one of those little scripted 3D animations.
Out pops a smiling Biggus pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt- I support Arsene.
Just seen this. Brilliant

It really is and I can totally imagine it too. I'd seen your custom user title and found it funny for ages without even knowing it's origins. They did not disappoint.
Silly subby time! wrote:Just seen this. Brilliant
