He's exactly what we need though.
Tracking jan tran winda rumours
Liverpool are set to spend big again for.....Darren Bent.
Really?
Apart from that Spurs time that he probably wishes to forget he's been a reliable striker.
They'd have to pay a silly price for him though.
Makes no sense whatsoever fo Milan to let Pato go, so I call bullshit on this one.
Don't know.
Has he been injured or is there something up with him?
He seems to have only played 8 games this season, scored just the one goal.
Maybe he wants out?

According to this rumour Olympiakos are chasing him.
y va marquer wrote:It might be unfair of me but I can only see Rosicky as being useful if we are about 3-0 up in a game with 20 minutes to go.
At that stage he's effective in slowing play down and keeping the ball though he does also cause a few headaches in defence. He should not start any game against teams that sit deep and defend in droves.
It's not unfair it's spot on.

Newcastle. :gah:
Crikey, how could I have forgotten his performance that sparked an Interpol investigation.
We were 4-0 up in that one though

I think he wants out. I read an article about it in the Gazzetta earlier this week and started to think that there might be something to this story.
To answer the question though: Yeah, Pato was was injured for a spell during the fall. But it's also clear that Allegri doesn't rate him much. He was more or less fourth choice behind Ibrahimovic, Cassano and Robinho earlier this season. Since Cassano's heart surgery he's been on the bench but he doesn't get many opportunities. I think he's started four league games.
If Milan sign Tevez I think there's a possibility that Pato will be allowed to leave, provided someone is ready to pay the fee. I really didn't think they would get rid of him just a few weeks ago but the signals are very different at the moment. Yesterday Pato went out and (sort of) criticised Allegri in the local papers. Can't see any reason for ut unless he wants to provoke some kind of reaction. The more likely scenario is that he stays put for the time being though. He might be allowed to leave in the summer if his situation doesn't improve, but it's still complicated. He's close to Milan on several levels. His fiancee is Silvio Berlusconi's daughter, for instance, and she's also a board member at the club (and, apparently, pregnant with his child).
The whole Pato - Berlusconi affair just seems negligent, but expect a deviant like Silvio to fail to regulate that relationship. How does a player date his boss? It's too messy. He's too closely tied to the club now for rational decisions to be made.
I would love Pato here. He's lost his way a little due to injury but when he was healthy two seasons ago, he was 2nd only to Balotelli as an exciting young talent in Serie A.

Thanks Klaus, interesting stuff, wasn't aware of any of that detail.
We're not going to sign him anyway but I think if we were going to spend the kind of money that he'd command I'd go for Jovetic.
Seems a more reliable option.
Oh, absolutely. Jovetic is a terrific footballer. Pato is a bit more run and gun. Great close control and finish (which we could use at the moment) but he's not much of a playmaker. That's why he's been struggling a bit at Milan ever since they started to play him out wide. Well, it's not the only reason, but it's one of them. Think Jovetic would offer us more. The question is whether Fiorentina will let him go.
Lol how is jovetic a more reliable option?
He was skank against England
Not sure how much I trust that site Nela, they're quoting English media sources but I've not seen anything on this story anywhere else today.
Bit unfair to judge Jovetic on just a couple of games against England Dula.
He's the Montenegrian Messi
He's has been better than Pato this season in Serie A this season though.
His performance against Atlanta a few weeks ago was top class.
Ran the attack and scored the winning goal.
Not knocking Pato's talent, but he's not in good form and clearly comes with baggage.
Would not fret about us signing Jovetic anyway as he says he's happy to stay in Italy, unless Chelsea money can convince him that he's not.
I think jovetic is very talented but he's not a clever clever player we need. Pato has much more class about his play. Pato would also fit so nicely into our set up
Maybe.
Arsene would possibly be willing to investigate some kind of cut-price loan deal.
Nela wrote:According to this site., we've bid 14 million for Vargas.
Would be a top addition
Apparently there's a fair chance Arsh will be gone in Jan. Hope so.
You'd think he'd press for a move to get game time before the euros
