The Daily Mirror reckon we could be in for Kieran Richardson. Old Turnip loves his ex-Manscum. doesn't he.
Richardson - not quite the kind of link we need to hear about today is it?
Looked at rumours to see if there are any at all that sound plausible or vaguely hopeful. There aren't. It does seem that Wayne Bridge is a no no because he wants us to pay him £90k a week - he's surely not dim enough to expect that here?
There is also a link with Cissokho http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/football/886193-aly-cissokho-puts-arsenal-on-alert-after-revealing-premier-league-wish#ixzz1iKUoH3fa
this thread is more like Tracking jan tran wind-up rumours.
January is going to be a looong month
Basically, if we don't spend, we will miss out on champs league next year but we may get a new manager
he could be the new sylvestre, in all seriousness wenger better make some serious signings this window or he will well and truly lose the fans.
He's previously stated that the squad is too big, we need to ship a couple of players out before we can buy.. I'd start with Chamakh.
Linked with Raul Albiol today. Primarily a CB but he can play at RB?

I'm not subscribed to The Times on line but they have a story that a player from Oman's second division Saad al-Mukhain has been offered a two-day trial with us this week. He's a defender and he's 24, that's all I know so far.
Our scouts have been watching him for a while apparently.
Saif al Sumry, the official responsible for the Fanja first team, said
“We received an official letter from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger two days ago requesting that Saad be allowed to attend a trial in England. We are currently working on the documents he needs to travel to the UK and he will fly as soon as it is done. We are delighted with the development and we hope he will impress the Arsenal manager.”

Oman's second division? 😆 troll.
About the level of conference sides or a little lower.
i lik ehow y va is scouting our scouts - give a kick up the backside girl!
🙂 It's a depressing chore right now.
Apart from weird links to previously unheard of second decision players from Oman even the rumours are drying up.
This is about all I saw today. Apparently we're interested in signing Sow http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/1433/56/arsenal-and-tottenham-battle-land-lille-striker He'll be off to the ACN with Senegal in January?
Heh, we could well end up signing every player from Lille apart from the only one that's actually worth buying.
Sow is not bad though, certainly more of a goal threat than Gervinho.
Brian Swan will no doubt be shaken when he realises that we've got our eye on Neil Taylor.

Best fullback we've been linked with yet although he will probably be expensive so I can't see it happening. There was some release clause argy bargy regarding him in the summer but nothing seems to have come from it.

He's a hundred times better than Chamakh - which is probably more relevant. Not sure he could play in Gervinho's place, though he is undeniably a better finisher (as am I). We could do a LOT better, but he'd be a shed-load better than nothing too.

Arsene said before that we could take advantage of the depressed economic conditions non?
