It's amazing how much Arsenal fans will for Arshavin to be better than he is.

He has never been fat, he's getting older, losing his pace and treats the ball like a five dollar hoe (yeah, it's fun but you'll give it away in a second). That doesn't, however, take away from his ability to have a positive impact on a game in terms of key passes and goals. That's where he earns his wages and he is damn good at it but not necessarily suited to a team that puts so much stress on a team based defence.

he weighed more than 70kg and is 172 cm. a fit and lean (footballers body type) arshavin would be somewhere around 65-67 kg.

Cheers for that professor Varnesen. What a crock of shit. 😆

Perfect build, almost cruiserweight in it's sculpture. Five eleven, 144 pounds, slim waist, decent upper body. Athletic, regular footballer, 100m time of 11 secs, black belt in muay thai. Enjoy sudoku, poetry and flower pressing. Annual salary over 60k. No history of pattern baldness, never had a need for a dental operation of any sort. Father and mother are middle to upper class.

Call me.

And single? Sounds gay to me.

Yeah, but that facial disfigurement just ruins it for me.

I like to think that it gives me 'character'.

Sudoku? Come on Captain, time to man up and start doing crosswords. If you can do them with a rye on the rocks and a pipe, all the better.

lol can imagine capi and kel holding hands as they stroll towards the stadium from the tolly

whilst me n nela sneak off for a bit of the old heave ho in the highbury flat complex

Seriously though, I love this guy because he's just got a ridiculous amount of natural talent. He did look fitter against that Malaysian team... maybe he's worried about Gervinho's competition! Always been a Shava fan and although most seem to have completely dismissed or forgotten about his potential contribution next season, I'm very hopeful that he can have a big impact on our season. Might find it tough to get games with Nasri, Theo and Gervinho there (as well as Vela and even Miyaichi) but here's hoping that that'll give him a kick up the backside because a motivated Arshavin is a huge asset to have.

going from slightly overweight to fit is hardly rare. last season arshavin carried too much mass. if he has cut down 8-10 lbs, he should be a much better player. leaner, more agile, quicker and better stamina.

We'll see.

is this you, or the guy you're looking to date?

He is so lazy in training its unbelievable. He just don't run. They played monkey, played attack vs defence (2sides), played a match together and he just is so lazy you can see it 😆 But yet he kepts doing unbelievable stuffs, passes and shots were brilliant. You can see he just have that touch of class.

If he wants it he can be very good, just a pity he don't really like to put in effort.

He's definitely looking more fit these days whether this translates into consistent match shaping performances remains to be seen. It'd be a massive bonus if he resurrected his early Arsenal form.

He'd pass for 15 in that photo.

😆 Arshavin at Harry Potter... At least no eleven year old had to sit behind him only seeing half the movie.
