Arteta isn't brave enough to win the title. I am completely for the midfield we started at Anfield, although Eze should have started in place of Martinelli.

But to start that midfield at home is just weak. There are no excuses to start Merino and Rice as 8's in a home game. A shame we have to wait another season now to see if we have what it takes.

To not play a ball playing attacking midfielder against Pool and City is just not good enough.

How the fuck do you expect the ball to be used effectively in the final third?

I personally think City won't finish in the top four this season. Rodri is finished and Doku, Silva and Foden is a mediocre collection of attackers.

If Arteta hadn't played that cursed midfield trio, we'd likely have had a comfortable 2-0 kind of an afternoon

Yea definitely has a lovely pass, just needs to put more effort in. He's cruising around in general play like Berba. If arteta can get in working hard nobody can. So I reckon it'll be grand.

Speedster I know what you mean. Berba was criticised for playing like he has a cigar in his mouth. 10 percent more urgency from Eze and we got a real player on our hands, technically he can do it all.

He's not going to manically press and pick up the ball deep in our own half like Odegaard. That's never been in his game.

Dom nor do I bloody want him to do that. Save his energy to be inventive and dangerous which he is. Start him in every match too.
