In the modern game it's hard to accommodate a striker who waits for the right service and doesn't otherwise impact the game much. People debate whether someone as good as Haaland is worth it for City, or a bit of a flat truck bully.
I still think Gyökeres will still prove a useful player for us, but he is not the savior, especially against teams with elite physicality. Havertz is stronger, faster, and better technically, and better suited to starting these kinds of games.
