HomeSteak He wasn't great in pre-season. He also came on against Forest but I think the time on the bench will do him good.

Will still contribute this season no doubt about that. Up to him to prove he belongs in the 11 especially if he thought he had already made it this should give him a kick up the bum.

Missed this match, how did we play? Twitter saying Athletic were diving around on little contact and made it a very tough game.

Really happy for Martinelli and Trossard, goals will do both their confidence a world of good, especially Martinelli. He hasn't become a bad player, just lost his confidence.

JazzG yeah Athletic were typically cynical in the traditional Spanish style. They were all over us for the first 15 minutes but we were ok then. Not great by any means but as the game went on their chances mostly dried up and we had more control. Eventually the subs came on and changed as the wingers had both been struggling in quite different ways before that.
