This is a major positive that isn't being considered. We've desperately lacked someone who could come off the bench and add pace to the attack, beat some men and create some chaos. My issue is more that - we should be looking at signing a player who can spell Saka and especially Martinelli to the bench, rather than a clear backup.

Both Norgaard and Madueke aren't players I'll be keen on wanting on the pitch in a CL QF.

We haven't played a match this season yet. The transfer window isn't closed yet. The club is spending money. The fans don't like how we are spending money. Not a single person did this when we kept playing a rapist for 3 seasons. Now suddenly we see this ridiculous behavior because we are buying a player that fans don't deem good enough for the money being spent on him. He hasn't worn our jersey yet. This is crazy.

Rohit do you know what the circumstances behind this are would be my question. Social media stuff love to farm reactions but who knows what causes it. It could also be a reaction to the Partey affair who knows without context is pretty pointless getting wound up in my view.

I think Arteta and the club are going to be under big pressure, the Partey stuff will have impacted the good will amongst some fans and having done well but failed to deliver patience will also be running out from that perspective as well.

The reaction has been childish, don't disagree but let's not pretend that this has come from no where. Do we really expect fans to not voice outrage ever? Sure, there's a right or wrong way to do it but that doesn't mean it can't be done.

The club put themselves in this position by making an absolutely unfathomable signing. It's so odd. People don't understand it. Not Chelsea fans. Not opposition fans. Not (the majority) of Arsenal fans.

But our fans are expected to just shut up and accept it? Fuck off.
