Appreciate the window is no way done and we haven’t even announced one signing yet but if these go through this is a great start and our defence suddenly looks competitive, good age profiles, availability box ticked, getting rid of injury prone deadwood players and players in there with a lot of upside and ‘high ceiling’s’.

Sicario2 Exactly what we need if we want to compete on all four fronts. Imagine last season if we had got far in the CL, I think we wouldn't have got to the CL semis and fallen further behind in the league, our squad was so stretched. We need options but viable options. Players like Madueke coming on can make a difference, our options in the past few years simply not on that level

I still find it interesting that almost everyone puts MLS in their starting XI in front of Calafiori. I know the lad did well last year, for someone that was 17... But he also made quite a few mistakes, including red cards in consecutive (i think?) games.
