Imagine last season if we had got far in the CL, I think we wouldn't have got to the CL semis and fallen further behind in the league, our squad was so stretched. We need options but viable options. Players like Madueke coming on can make a difference, our options in the past few years simply not on that level

I still find it interesting that almost everyone puts MLS in their starting XI in front of Calafiori. I know the lad did well last year, for someone that was 17... But he also made quite a few mistakes, including red cards in consecutive (i think?) games.

I just googled what he earns and this has to be one of the most depressing sentences I've read: "Gabriel Jesus (Centre-Forward) has 2 years and £27,560,000 Estimated Gross Salary remaining on his contract with Arsenal (Premier League), expiring on Jun 30, 2027."
