If we think about it.. We are 3-1-1 while playing ManU away, Liverpool away and City at home. We beat Leeds, Forest and ManU. We should have won v. City, but losing at Anfield is not exactly unheard of (even though we should have gotten something from it).
Liverpool are obviously 5-0-0, and other than beating us at home, they have only really played Newcastle away, and that is not the same this year as it was last year. Even with that, they were playing against 10 men for half the game, and needed a last minute goal to beat them. They have obviously had the 'easier' start to the season.
OK, we're 5 points back, but its not as dire as is seems IMO. We still havent figured out the best combinations yet, we've had injuries, and we're still 4 wins from 6 (incl the CL) and the only dropped points were at Anfield and against City.
