Standard, leading at home then come out in the 2nd half defending
Arsenal at home to Monaco - Champions League 11th December 2024
As usual, now we just defend ffs
lovely skill MLS
Weird subs.
Everything on that move was chaotic by us. Need to get a grip
Playing with fire, they look more like scoring, Embolo close there
Drossard
Cringe game.
Trossard needs to do way better there.
Tross has fallen off a cliff
Haha easy one.
One man team.
lol lucky goal
Well done Kai
Lol of course we score our second that way
Nwaneri will score here
Kai scores, might be offside tho
Havertz has been great since he's come on. Deserves it. Just a pity to stop Sakas hat trick
3 goals and none of them set pieces, progress of sorts
Again I think nwaneri with Odegaard would be a joy.
How do we make that work. Merino and Rice as a guard behind them?
Martin Tyler going on and on about corners. Just shut up.
OK, well we're 3-0 up against Monaco (granted, at home) and we are missing literally 7 defenders and our CM is being played out of position. I think that's respectable. This will move us up into like 5th or so i think, yeah?
Nope. We are 3rd. Satisfying night of football
Havertz with a strong cameo. Pity Jesus couldn't work his way more into the starting CF reckoning by finishing one of those chances ffs. He's such a dreadful finisher but most of our players are.
Merino quite neat in the second half.
Raya with uncharacteristically poor kicking.
And yeah, Trossard man. So disappointing.

Not bad. Corners were shite though.
Fuuuuck Monaco and fuck Giroud for that loss a decade ago.
Was in a box for this 1! Different experience but still very enjoyable! MLS great pass for the 1st goal. He can take Zinchenko's place in the squad next season.
Very happy with the win. Would be great to avoid that knockout round in Feb. 1 more win will do it
I was surprised at the number of empty seats. Almost felt like I was at a league cup game. Upper tiers and club level seats had plenty of bald spots. It's surprising since there was a lot to play for in this match.

I couldn't be arsed to wake up to watch, just saw the tail end cos it's when I usually wake up anyway.
A little bit ennui, a little bit bad timing.
Qwiss If you want to score open play goals, you need to create open play chances. And Jesus consistently made good runs that gave him opportunities to scores goals. And then he created the Saka goal.
If I compare this performance to what we have seen in other games, it’s a big step up and means he can step in for Havertz if he maintains or betters this showing
My brother said there were literally dozens of seats (maybe a couple of hundred?) available on ticket exchange the night before the fixture. While at the game I hadn't seen so many empty seats in a PL or CL game for a couple of years now.
Our football has not been great and we're close to being out of the title race, but this is nothing like 2019 when MAYBE you could be forgiven for not wanting to watch Emeryball on a chilly evening.
