RowJimmy — no doubt it would be difficult.

Cunha seems more likely only because they’re at an impasse with his contract, but I do think Wolves are at a very high risk of going down. That alone means Cunha is worth more as he’s critical to them staying up.

What do Brentford need Mbuemo for this season though? They have no chance in Europe or the cups, and no risk of relegation.

Now is the time to sell Mbuemo for big money (£70m+) as he’ll only be worth £40-50m this summer.

I'd be genuinely fucked off if we spent £70m on Mbuemo. He's better than I thought he was, he's not that good.

Jhon Duran looks a very interesting player, Villa will probably never sell him to us but definitely someone where there seems to be a lot of rumours about this window.

This guy is very confident we are signing the ‘new Odegaard’:

    think we'll take a punt?

Haven't been keeping track of the lad but why is he getting loaned out? He can't displace Welbeck?

banduan he’s never recovered from his knee injury. If he can’t play for shitty Brighton, why would he solve our problems. Will be a big white Sterling

We can’t loan him, we already have two loan signings in Neto and Sterling.

One of Sterling’s few redeeming features this season will probably be his presence making us avoid an even more ridiculous signing in Ferguson.

Whatever his potential was, he’s not reaching it here and not in a the short period we’d need him to. He might have a Van Persie-like journey to overcome his struggles and reach the top of his game, but the opportunity cost isn’t worth it for us.

Gazza M Need to buy Neto or terminate Sterling to get him on loan. Just pay for Neto if needed and get this guy if a deal can be done. Has to have an option to buy though otherwise no point.

Ferguson is injury prone and he might end up being a total dud but he also has imo the potential in him to be one of the best strikers in the world. He's 20 years old not a 30 year washed up player. He's had one major injury but these injuries can take months to recover from, then factor in lack of preseason it is understandable why he doesn't look up to speed yet. I mean look at Jesus, looked washed up and just before his injury looked like he was getting back to a decent level.

People want to drop £150m on Isak but his injury record isn't exactly perfect either. Realistically we ain't gonna sign a top striker this window so I'd definitely want us to take a punt on him.

JazzG this guy hasn't completed a 90 in two years.
This is one of those moments I am happy for someone else to take the risk. If he comes good, we can pay whatever insane price Brighton cook up. But we don't have space for a likely passenger right now.

Claudius I get that but I really like him as a player. This guy has a crazy high ceiling but I completely get your point as well. Brighton being open to letting him go is also potentially a red flag. So if any deal is done we would need to do a proper medical

lorddulaarsenal That would be a good signing, the rumours suggest loan.

As we get closer to the end of the window other options will pop up.

lorddulaarsenal Tel would be a great addition, even if its on loan. We need bodies and he looks to be a great prospect. His stature and style reminds me a bit of Leao before he went to Milan. Would hope if it were a loan that we could put in an option to buy of course but I won't be picky at this point.

Love Ferguson's potential but just don't see how bringing in an injury prone 20 year old on loan right now would help us at all. If it were a permanent deal or loan with option then maybe I'd consider it but it would have to be a cut price deal since he hasn't shown much the last two years after looking like the next big thing previously.
