    Would be like Sterling transfer, hoping a broken player might find form.

      JazzG I'm off him as well. feels like we would've built a slightly different team had we signed him back then, which would've suited his game more. it's 3 years later and I don't see him excelling in our current set up.

              MistaT in hindsight it was a mistake to give up on Toney.

                      Don Pacifico I think he probably wanted a wage no one was willing to pay but I think that only came after a while. If we'd acted quicker we'd have got him for less.

                        Agreed, he has a big PR operation around him as well which is always a red flag imo. I believe he recently went to his old school and a former Times journalist just happened to be there as well. This is all staged bullshit he puts out when the heat is on him.

                          Our facial hair game is pretty weak so he would boost that instantly too

                            There must be something about Mbuemo and Arsenal. My mate Gabs - Brentford fan - mentioned to me a while ago - last summer maybe? - that there was chat Arsenal were looking at him. I hated the idea (because my personal bias is that no Brentford player could possibly be good enough to play for this Arsenal team), but can see how he might add value now.
