Sicario2 - Tier 1 I agree. Would be okay with a loan but don't see why Juve would agree to one unless an obligation is attached. Very little in it for them.

Talk is they’re after Muani on loan so my be open to letting Vlahovic go

Who the fuck can we get though. This is why I'm not holding out for anything substantial this window. We'll get bodies, just prey it's a Trossard type signing who short term can hit the ground running even though it doesn't work long term.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 Vhalovic on loan is 100 times better than signing no one

The face the Juve fans want to get rid of him doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. His record for them has been shit and supposedly has injury problems. A loan maybe but we shouldn't be spending big money on him imo.

Also a part of me doesn't want him, we pushed really hard a few years back and felt like he turned his nose up at the chance of joining us. Like we were beneath him, shouldn't forget this, even though that sounds childish!

Rashford on loan (no obligation) with us covering his full wage and paying United a fee might be worth the gamble. He's a streaky player and if he finds his 22/23 form for 6 months, we might have a chance of doing something this season.

TambourineMan nope. I very much doubt he can find his form.

Would be like Sterling transfer, hoping a broken player might find form.

If they agree to that I'd take Rashford. We are in a desperate situation

JazzG I'm off him as well. feels like we would've built a slightly different team had we signed him back then, which would've suited his game more. it's 3 years later and I don't see him excelling in our current set up.

Pardew told a caller on talkSPORT (18.23): “You’ve been linked with Jonathan David, the Lille striker, I mean you know, I’m not sure whether that’s the right one for you. For me, it needs to be a nailed on 100% top, top striker. That’s where Arsenal need to go and I think Toney would have fitted the bill, I really do.

“I was really surprised that he didn’t end up at Arsenal because I think he was linked. I remember speaking to his agent and there was definitely dialogue, definitely.”

JazzG I don't even think he's a broken player, I think he's a lazy and disinterested player with a poor attitude.

MistaT in hindsight it was a mistake to give up on Toney.

Qwiss do you not think there was something in the fact that no one in Europe signed him?
