lorddulaarsenal versatility gives him a big tick for Arteta. Makes him similar to Trossard but I like his chaos factor, which no one in our squad really demonstrates...if we were to sign him, I'd hope that would be seen as a positive rather than something to beat out of him.

Cunha will be expensive. I’m calling £75m now for that transfer. But we do need another capable attacker. Martinelli’s cameo was disappointing.

Cunha for anything more than 50m is a mistake for me. We’ve got big targets in the summer and splashing that cash on a player who isn’t a LW or ST is a mistake to me. If the option is him at that price or Kubo at a similar price, I’d rather keep the powder dry to ensure we have as much financial power as possible in the summer when bigger names may be more readily available.

samthegooner Wolves bought Cunha for £50m just eighteen months ago. They’re a clever club. That £75m will be them being kind. He’s one of the best forwards in the league and this Bukayo situation has left us in a crisis

At that kind of price, we just need to suck it up.

I'd say screw it - the season's done. There's no way that we have a shot at winning the league and we will probably finish Top 4 anyway. Why overpay in the winter for no reason for an average jack of all trades when we can refocus and prepare better for the summer window. Let's see whether Saka is back in proper shape post February and we can then decide in the summer whether we need a LW and RW or only the former.

Agree with the consensus - Cunha is an exciting player but the price and the context of our season make him a less appealing prospect. Whilst I don't think we're out of it, £75m off doesn't feel a good allocation of resources.

£70-75m (a number I made up btw) sounds like a lot of money. But what are the alternatives folks have?
