We probably need 3 or so attacking players in the next couple of windows and need different type of profiles. Good chance Trossard is leaving in the summer, Jesus probably won't be fully fit for a year so that leaves an already bare attack very short.

I would definitely be a fan of Mbuemo - he'd be an upgrade on the type of player we have in Trossard and Jesus. When we were linked with Cunha, I thought it would make more sense to go after Mbuemo because at least he can play more of a traditional winger in addition to the tweener role that Jesus and Trossard can play. He's a good finisher with solid but not game breaking speed that would definitely add some competence to our attack.
Personally, I'd love to see if Bournemouth would be willing to part with Semenyo this window at an above market price (over 50m) because I think he would be perfect for our project as an ambipedal winger who can take on his marker, has a great shot with a very short backlift and has the height and dwelling ability that Arteta loves. I'd understand if Bournemouth doesn't want to sell him now but he would be my choice right now. Ideally, we could also bring in Gittens in the summer and push out Trossard so our winger rotation would be Saka, Semenyo, Gittens, Martinelli. Subbing in Mbuemo for Semenyo wouldn't be the worst thing either.
Summer is useless... Bring him in now.
Yep Brentford are not going down or getting into Europe. Just give them a good offer. Especially if he's only got 18 months left.
I think the previous report was for the summer but he's highlighting it now in light of the rumors we are going after him now. But I may be incorrect.
Frank has come out and said he's not moving in Jan.
Everyone's got a price- he should be saying that but if Mbeumo only has 18 months left, they'd be silly to turn down a good offer. That being said, this is why I am never bullish on any January transfer rumors and have always supported Wenger's idea that it should be scrapped.
samthegooner That is what it looks like to me as well. Summer he'd probably be cheaper with 12 months left on his contract but we clearly need to do something now if possible.
Like @Qwiss says, realistically keeping him or not isn't going to make that much difference to Brentford so they might be open to do a deal.

(Same agent as William Saliba apparently).
samthegooner yeah, sure but it doesn't sound like he's even inviting offers.
Mbeumo is their top goalscorer with roughly a third of their goals. Don't see why they'd want to sell him this month.
Would love Sesko - monster physically
we could do with someone that has a snapshot in their locker, and a willingness to use it
lorddulaarsenal we need a just give it a whack and forget it type. Tired of our limp dick forwards.
Bring in a center forward please and thank you
lorddulaarsenal I'd settle for gyokeres at this point too.
Benzema on a six month loan eh
