Olise missed half of last season with hamstring injuries. If Edu had paid £53m and this guy got injured once, we’d never hear the end of it.
el Janny Tranny
Great player but is at his best in Saka or Odegaard’s position.
Priority was and remains sorting the left hand side
Claudius are you saying that if we could've, it wouldn't have been the right decision ti sign him because people would have complained if he got injured, or are you saying you don't think it would have been the right decision to sign him?
Isak tho
Mitoma.
QuincyAbeyie I’m saying read the forum and see the regular comments that “Arteta and Edu bought this and that player despite his injury record”.
Claudius but that's irrelevant. Do you think it would've been wrong?
QuincyAbeyie it’s not irrelevant. I’m applying the standard that is commonly applied. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. We can’t be critical that a player who missed half the season wasn’t bought and also complain constantly about how injury prone the squad is. Let’s have some consistency.
I also want some nice AMs and forwards. But I also have said that you need to have 3 things in a player - 1) quality, 2) availability, and 3) system fit. Guys like Odegaard, Saliba and Saka are great because they nail all three

Claudius i guess you're not seeing how you want to have your cake and eat it too by both saying we couldn't have signed Olise because the fans would've criticized it and saying that Arteta has proven the fans wrong on other signings.
Like the links to Barcola. Great player
lorddulaarsenal Barcola is one to get if he's attainable.
Big Willie yea unfortunately Dules is right my man has Liverpool written all over him.
He's come down to earth a bit in December but the level he was playing before was absurd, 30+ G/A by November.
Tet got that itch to scratch

thought it was a mistake not getting him from Ajax. he fit the profile of young talent with high upside, that could provide immediate impact as a sub and eventually earn a starting berth
Only problem with Kudus is that he's left-footed. But we can make that work.
Kudus feels like a fallback option. We’ve lost one of rhe 3 best players in the league for 10 weeks. It was bad enough without Odegaard. This will be devastating.
Would like to see us count the coins and make a push for a legit end product guy. Marmoush, Gyokeres, Isak. All would be tough to get mid-season but that’s the level of our predicament.
Claudius are we really counting Marmoush in that bracket? No one was talking about him until this season so feels more of a gamble to push the boat out for him.
Watched Juve the other night. Yildiz looks great
