Tough draw for us , we need a striker and a winger badly
GooneriC Are you kidding me? It’s a fantastic draw
GooneriC we must have different definitions of tough.
Decent set of fixtures for us. Three home bankers + the toughest fixtures at home is an ideal mix. Then just need a couple of half decent away results.
Clrnc PSG are Mbappe-less now. Overall, I think that's a decent enough draw with the exception of that Sporting Lisbon banana skin...
Don Pacifico Time for revenge
Inter is a better team than PSG, but I'm intrigued to face them for the first time since that legendary match for us.
Also quite happy to finally see how controlball will face Gasperini's transition game.
It's okay. None of the very best teams, but none of the presumed worst either.
Since when was the CL draw on a Thursday evening? Kept thinking it was tomorrow noon.
Decent draw in any case. We should be comfortably through.
Big Willie Since when was the CL draw on a Thursday evening? Kept thinking it was tomorrow noon.
UEFA probably thought their supercomputer needed 48 hours to figure who was playing who.
I tried to follow this while I was training my kids team. We are in groups with teams we don't play and we play teams from other groups, wtf?
Qwiss no more groups. Just a big league table
Clrnc I seen that. I was just half following the draw and thought those drawn with us would play us. Whole thing is barmy.
Must say quite happy with the fixtures - a lot more interesting
Mirth Yeah the entertainment value is improved with the removal of "home and away versus PSV". The range of opponents might contribute to greater variation of results.
I predict if we open our account with a solid win over PSG we'll do well.
Girona 3rd in La Liga. Monaco 2nd in Uber Eats. So these are not scarecrows.
I still don’t understand how Man City gets these free pass draws in cup competitions every damn year
Claudius I still don’t understand how Man City gets these free pass draws in cup competitions every damn year
@goon already called it mate. Yet again ahead of the curve.
goon You’re forgetting City have already secured all the easy ties before the draw, making it slightly more probably.
Doesn't look a bad draw for us. Reasonable mix of supposed "stronger" and "weaker" teams and no nightmare long away trips with the Shakthar one being at home. Can remember the early 2000s when we often seemed to play them or Kiev etc and Bergkamp couldn't go.
Can't complain when consider what some of the other teams have ended up with.
Fair draw.

Actual fixtures won’t be known until Saturday
