City are the ones being linked with Eze at the moment. And some positive noises about Williams to Barca. Not sure what that leaves us for forward signings. It doesn't seem like we're in love with the options this summer.

Neto, Merino, Calafiori. I will take it at this stage, not much options left for us

Neto is better on the right though. He can play both sides but he's a real difference maker cutting inside from the right. Maybe that's fine, but he wouldn't start for us on the left I don't think. That's putting a lot of faith in Martinelli to get his act together, which maybe he will.

CPM Heard Neto is with Jorge Mendes. So if we want him, its really all about money.

With Eddy leaving we definitely need one if not two forwards/attackers. I suspect we are working behind the scenes with Isak/osimhen and will try to bring one of them before the window closes.

Cannon Napoli are desperately offering Osimhen to everyone, PSG vetoed the deal and now only Saudi clubs are in for him

Clrnc It was silly what Napoli were asking. With PSG out of the way, a late window deal for 55-60 mill should be targetted

Seems pretty clear that Osimhen's representation is demanding exorbitant commissions/agent fees that no one wants to pay on top of his already high price. I have my own doubts about his talent and availability - I don't think he's at the level we need on the ball and while he definitely has scored a lot of goals, his conversion rate is not elite. Add to that the fact he has suffered a few big injuries due to his aggressive playing style and I wouldn't want to pay what Napoli are demanding.

Can't imagine the Saudis would ever sell Isak as he's by far their best player. Would be a dream signing though. Looked like a right footed Van Persie on occasions last season with his first touch and ability to instantly turn and take the ball effortlessly with him.

Dom We just have to convince Isak. No club can really hold on to a player wanting to leave. Not for long anyway. I am sure with their earlier interest in Aaron Ramsdale we have a working relationship of some kind with NUFC. If Isak wants the right money can make it happen.

lorddulaarsenal People keep saying stuff like this is the new Arsenal, Edu is cooking and Arteta is him etc but the true test of 'the times have changed' will be whenwe recruit a 100% genuine true blue south american talent. No sidekicks but the main man.

We certainly need a forward who can clinically score you 20-25 goals. Havertz is not that player when you maybe get the one chance in the game he is just not reliable and needs multiple opportunities in a game to make it count. When you are not at it or in a game like Bayern etc it might be you just get them one chance to punish them and we do not have that quality in this team at the moment.

Claudius it’s strange but none of those non-bold strikers appeal to me all that much, even Isak who I rate but probably not worth the effort to sign. 10-15 years ago if you scored 20 goals you’d be at the top of everyone’s wish list

Claudius openda is the right age. has scored 20+ goals the last two seasons in ligue 1 and bundesliga, and he turned 24 this year.

Claudius you've got to move for them a bit earlier though. I wanted Isak before he went to Newcastle and he wasn't a 20 goal striker then. You need to catch these players on the cusp.
