Qwiss Maybe so but they do go imo a long way in addressing two problems in the first team and means we haven't spent crazy money in doing it. If a big player becomes available gives us financial headroom to make a move.
Calafiori much more in line with our policy of under 25 players whereas Merino seems more a short term solution until we find a long term solution. The right way to do things, if you can't get the players you want make sure we don't get left short. Keep our powder dry and make sure if the right player does become available we make a move.
