Lewis seemed to be a source of sage guidance. Would be concerned with more KSE people getting involved, particularly if they have no grounding in football.

I do wonder also about Garlick getting promoted again. Reminds me of Edu's power-grab which always felt underserved.

Don Pacifico I may remember wrong since I'm not often bothered reading about all these behind the scenes guys, but it was my impression that Lewis has been quite involved since things have started improving.

Sicario2 Interesting Lewis would leave now that we are seemingly back on the way up.

We've been on the way up during Lewis's entire involvement—his arrival turned on the investment tap or so it seemed. And just last summer there were reports it was his mateship with Parish that got us Eze.

I wonder if Lewis isn't rotating out because he's gotten a bit more emotionally involved than KSE would prefer.

Meanwhile Ben Winston looks like a horrendous media stooge but wow, what a CV—the man must know more celebrities than just about anyone alive.

Isn't he a long term KSE employee? Sounds like this is just a Board reshuffle and he will continue to be involved in some capacity advising the owners on their interactions with the club, especially if Josh K is taking a "larger role". Either that or he has had a falling out with JK - let's see.

Probably a much more mundane thing in Lewis's case, like heading off to do the same thing for the Rams because it's closer to his grandkids etc etc.

Meatwad Yeah I realised that this morning! And in fact his history with KSE since 2007 has been connected to his advice to Stan about their investment in Arsenal. Same difference though.

I always felt Lewis was a fixer, almost doing Stan a favor. He's stabilized the ship and set the identity, put his people in place, now they can go on and continue executing while he walks off into the sunset like a corporate samurai.
