Hard to actually say that before he kicks a ball for us. We know his skill and talent, but like with Gyokeres, new system, new team... He won't be 100% gelled with the team instantly.

I thought he made an impact when he came on. Dropped deep, pinged passes and kept the game moving. Think he will get many opportunities this season to develop and showcase his ability.

MistaT I'm in 2 minds about it but I think Eze is probably better off on the wing at the moment. I think tactically he can come in and do a Saka type job on the left while Noni plays on the right the way Martinelli usually does on the left.

martin's off the ball work isn't simple. i don't think eze can do that. he's a luxury player (that we desperately need).

Meatwad yeah you could see yesterday Ethan has come on a lot in that regard, really did a great job on the press.

The specificity of that role is probably part of the reason they want him specialising in midfield and not playing RW too much this season.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert he's been excellent whenever called on so far this season. He's extremely reliable with the ball and he's pressing like a seasoned pro.

Qwiss he showed more awareness in central midfield today compared with against Leeds. Very encouraging and also contributed well defensively.

He is the only players who reminds me of Arsenal of old. Reminds me of players like silva, Cesc etc. You just expect him to beat his man. I still don’t kno what kinda player he is going to develop into but he is going to be a top player for sure.

Thought he played really well in that midfield role yesterday. He was driving with the ball, making progressive passes forward, combining and looked comfortable holding on to the ball in deeper midfield too. He also didn't just stick to the right hand side. Think he's starting to adapt really well to the role.

Very impressve performance considering he is still only 18 and was replacing Odegaard and glad Arteta went with him. Makes me wonder why he didn't play him at Anfield and if he'll stick with him vs Bilbao on Tuesday.

Can't wait for his first trademark goal this season.

Panda yeah, he did try for that (goal) but it did not come off. I am hoping he develops into something special and unique.

We need to utilise his ball striking. He needs to push himself and Arteta into starting games.

Apparently, 8 of the 11 goals we've scored this season came with him on the pitch. Someone needs to feed Arteta this stat because there's no way he or Eze should be behind fucking Merino as an AM.
