the funniest thing is that biden is gaining in polls. a few months ago, people were freaking the fuck out because trump was basically up 5-6 points nationally and leading in all the battleground polls. now its basically a dead heat nationally and in the battleground states. yet biden has made a bunch of gaffes, looks even worse physically/mentally, and his handling of gaza has been absolutely horrific. and hes closed the gap. i guess some of those on the fence weirdos in the center are having trouble convincing themselves to vote for the convicted felon over the guy who should be getting charged with war crimes

Qwiss Crazy how when this whole Hunter Biden laptop story broke in the last election how the media colluded to suppress that story. Criminality in the sphere of any politician only seems salient if it goes clearly to the politician's character, or points to a probity issue or a point at which they could be vulnerable to subversion.
There are far more serious probity concerns on the Democrat side, the GOP side, and Biden and Trump's specific cases. It's not like this is the Iran-Contra affair.

from what I've been seeing since the midterms and other assorted races, is there seems to be an interesting phenomenon where Ds overperform when Biden is not at the top of the ticket, and Rs underperform when trump is not on the ticket. the polling - which has been favouring Rs most of the time - hasn't been repeatedly flummoxed by this phenomena. God know what will happen in november

Trump seemed to be getting in an argument every other week with someone in the media but at least he took the questions. The laptop didn't have anything incriminating as far as I know but there were references to someone having cuts out of business deals, then some dubious business deals in Ukraine and China from what I remember and showed him as a drug addict and pictures with prostitutes. Now for some people like Burns has hinted above they won't care but for some people they will care and it will influence their decision. I mean if Trump's kids were up to no good it would make wall to wall coverage. He's now been convicted for gun offence and may get done on Tax charges. Right or wrong but all that doesn't reflect well on Joe Biden.
