Garbage deadline day. So glad I've been too busy to follow any of it.
Deadline day Summer 23.
We are so, so bad at selling.
But re: Chelsea sales prices... two words: player farming. Clubs like paying big fees for young and up and coming players who've come off the back of a season where they've shown a lot of development. Chelsea tend to have lots of those because of their model.
Players close to their peak who've sat on the bench for years... not so much.
naz Holding for 4 million with so many other players with less experience, less quality and less potential going for more.
Like who?
I said this before but for all the complaints about our selling prices hardly any of them end up good value for the buyers. That's the bigger problem, we don't sell well because generally what we sell is trash.
Burnwinter Everton would be crazy to sell Wobs. He's probably been their best outfield player over the last year to 18 months.
Qwiss Right but if I were him I'd get the fuck out of there, your cortisol's gonna suck fighting relegation every season
naz its not worth £4m to be an extra defender down too. We are bare bones at the back. I know Robs not amazing on the ball but he's a solid defender and we could do with that for depth.
I'd like to think this means some academy players might get a chance but its far more likely we'll end up with Elneny at CB or something.
Burnwinter I'd get out of Everton too, its a sinking ship. That said I reckon Fulham are in for a relegation scrap too without Paulinha and Mitro.

Qwiss looks like Palhinha might be staying now...
Pahlinha to bayern not a sure thing just yet so i have read.
Good - want him in that Fulham side when they face our rivals
lorddulaarsenal yeah I was well pissed off he took points off us and was then about to leave.
Burnwinter love it.

Lol the guy isn’t Maradona.
City will destroy Fulham with or without this guy.
Just because we were shit against them doesn’t mean our rivals will be.
They have one of the worst defences in the league.
love it
Pepe LeFrits Balogun... going for lesser than Matsen in his last year.
goon I said this before but for all the complaints about our selling prices hardly any of them end up good value for the buyers. That's the bigger problem, we don't sell well because generally what we sell is trash.
To be fair, I think there's an intelligent criticism about our seeming relative unwillingness to deal Balogun to rich suitors. But it seems like most of the criticism takes the form of "Why was Edu unable to telemarket his way into selling Cedric Soares for £8m?". That combined with befuddlement that high-level teenage prospects are deemed more valuable assets than middle-career decent players.

Didn't expect them to go big on two strikers, but they seem to have learned their lesson from signing older superstars. Ugarte, Muani, Ramos, Dembele, Barcola, Kang-in Lee, Skriniar and Lucas Hernandez is a good mix of youngsters, players in their prime and experience. If the rumors of Mbappe renewing are true, they might be good.
Ridiculous level of spending though, as usual.
Surely handing out 8 year contracts will bite them at some point. Very few players stay at clubs that long
