JazzG Havertz clearly wasn't very good, then again a lot of our players weren't very good. He also wasn't the reason we conceded two goals either.
This is it. Havertz didn't cost us the match, the system did.
But the system is Arteta's way of getting Partey, Rice and Havertz into the lineup.
Mileage may vary, but against Fulham you could drop any of those three for Gabriel and Kiwior for Zinchenko, and we get all three points.
It looked to me like a major cause of our error for our opening goal was Partey's still unfamiliar, abrupt inversion from right back to a more central position. Saka's ball is loose to nowhere, but the nowhere belongs to the unfamiliar system.
