We're currently on course to finish the season with 88 points. That will have been enough points to have won the league in half of the 30 Premier League seasons (including the 3 seasons where 42 games were played). It's also not a true 8 or 7 point lead when the side on course for yet another 90+ point finish (their 5th in 6 seasons) have a game(s) in hand.
It's not bottle when you control the games and go 2-0 up as we have done. If anything it's complacency.
The rest of this run in will probably determine how many fans feel about this season went. It'll be disappointing if we don't win the title, but that doesn't make it a failure, largely down to all those points Delaney makes.
