Clrnc Yeah no arguments there, but the RW competition is a lot lesser than the LW. His only main competition is Freddie?

Sanchez often occupies that spot.

Qwiss if we're talking pure ability then yes, but for now Freddie still takes that spot for me because of his contributions to winning trophies. If we win this year then I'll reconsider.

Clrnc My memory is failing me, wasn't Sanchez always on the left cutting in? Walcott on the right

Probably. I meant he occupies the RW slot in a lot of Arsenal XIs that you see bandied about.

How can you guys forget that Flamini played a few games at RW for us in the season prior to his great one?

He's moved up a level, this guy is the best wide player in the league.

Cheek bones from a Chanel commercial too

    • Daz replied to this.

He's the modern man, should really be the zoomer Beckham or Ljungberg way he's going

Overmars. Has the beating of defenders the same way.

Claudius haven't seen fullbacks get so twisted up by an arsenal winger since overmars. Pires, freddie and Alexis were different kinds of wide players, but we didn't quite see them consistently terrorise the fullback in one-on-one situations the way saka does. he has pretty much every defender in the league on skates, and has elite composure to boot. he's also finally be universally acknowledged as the best winger in the league.

I’ve ran out of superlatives for this guy.

MistaT I've heard his farts smell like cinnamon

It started happening to Mohamed Salah around the end of his first season at Liverpool. Yes: right now, Saka is in that league. There was one nutmeg of Scott McTominay in the first half that was pure disdain, a move that said: “What are you even doing here m8, I wanted Casemiro.” Luke Shaw initially handled him well by standing off, and so like the best players Saka adjusted. He started releasing the ball first time. He started shooting on sight. Shaw has been one of United’s best players this season and Saka broke him, piece by piece.

Liew has written some brilliant stuff about Arsenal this season.

        Wow. Incredible performance.

The 9 I gave him in the ratings thread seems well harsh after seeing all that together.

he's reaching the level where his brilliance is expected. he makes beating 1-2 players seem mundane, he's so good at it. wingers that combine his calibre of dribbling with the ability to pick the right pass are unicorns.
