Clrnc except without any of the politics. Different situations.

This is correct. Massive West Ham fan.
He spoke glowingly and admiringly about us during his post game interview in the first leg at the Emirates this season. Thought was a bit weird how complimentary he was being - I guess we must have been working on this behind the scenes for a while. I'll wait till it's all official before I begin to get excited about having him with us. But he's a very good player. Fantastic engine, fantastic attitude, good leader, technically better than most in his position and defensively tuned in. Will be a huge upgrade on Xhaka and a very good replacement for LaRapist if that's the role Arteta sees for him. Let's not mess around with this one. Get it done.
At the end of the day, the ability is obvious and when the chips are down, like when Liverpool scored 1 back or West Ham scored 1 back, who would you trust to steady the ship? Rice or a player who's barely past 12 months playing in the league? (Caicedo)
Gunner89 who would you trust to steady the ship? Rice or a player who's barely past 12 months playing in the league? (Caicedo)
Caicedo, he's already great and has world class potential. Rice will never be world class.
Rice is quite a bit better than Caicedo.
I agree. Rice is better.
Caicedo reminds me of Makelele. Very good defensively. Covers space, reads the game very well, and is technically very good, but he is also definitely a 6 in our team. Not an 8. Rice can cover both the 6 and 8 imo.
Clrnc and Caicedo, difference is West Ham are open to selling.
TLDW; he's like Xhaka except better
Pepe LeFrits I mean... I was sold already but I'm even more so now. Will be gutted if we don't get him.
Cynic in me thinks Rice goes to Man City, and Caicedo either stays or goes to Liverpool. Man City will probably flip Kalvin-Phillips without too much sunk time. Hope it wouldn’t be to us.
KingslandBarge isn't MacAllister going to Liverpool? I think if Caicedo moves it'll be to a CL team. I reckon signing that new contract was a big fuck up by his agent though and he'll probably end up staying.
Very possible - it's why we're looking at multiple options (including the likes of Mount), which is unquestionably the right thing to do as I think there's a decent chance we don't get either of the two main targets.
Qwiss Got 1-2 reasons in my mind but I am totally guessing Liverpool may have shifted the target over to Caicedo, with a different kind of CM additionally on their list. I'd be more relieved if it was MacAllister though.

Get it done
This account is reliable for team news, not sure about transfer news though.

He’s extremely reliable in general so this is good news
Never trust guys who post team news that start to venture out, but hopefully it's true. Would be good to get it done early.
goon Transfer window coming up mate, we end up believing whoever says what we want to hear 😆
Like last summer hope we get our deals done early. Make sure our big signings have a full preseason with us.
Would be pretty sweet if we scooped Rice for say £80m the day after the window opened, and it "came out" (it was leaked) that he'd said he wouldn't accept any other destination.
Edit: alright, season's over, I just wrote transfer fanfic.
BBC have just reported West Ham saying they won't talk to clubs about Rice until the season has finished. Makes sense to be honest so I'd be a bit dubious of the suggestion we've already got an agreement with them in place.
Don Pacifico
They have to say that mate
Plus they can’t stop clubs from talking to the player beforehand.
If we get Rice it would be a massive sign of intent.
