Not sure if your regions can watch this but this is the first Saudi El Clasico. Finish 4-3. Some high quality goals and plays

This pass by Messi is just silly. How do you even have the vision to even think about making that pass and then execute it with perfect weight.

That's just ridiculously good. Who will think of passing it out wide for a tap in again from the middle of the goal. Wow

He's turning himself into a one man Harlem Globetrotters over there. The touch to turn prior to that ball is ridiculous ... he knows he's gonna flat-foot the defenders, counterbalances the force needed to kill the ball with a flourishing arm like a matador or a dancer. It's a great exhibition. The thing about Messi is this: you watch him and you're prompted to imagine the ridiculous heights football could reach.

Didn't know Christmas hams were already on sale, must be part of Lyon's gastronomic tradition.

Mirth what? y'all haven't seen CR7 doing stuff like that recently? 😉

He's having a blast out here in the MLS. No pressure - doing what he loves and loving what he does. Good thing is pace was never his main thing so he's not going to lose much in that regard. Could easily play till way over 40 if he stays uninjured.

England has quality almost everywhere don't they

Come on Zinchenko! Send Saka and Rice packing.

flobaba England has quality almost everywhere don't they

and then play Jordan Henderson in CM

Henderson, Maguire, Madison. I get they’ve were already close to qualification, but what on Earth is the gaffer doing? Philips on the bench.
He’s left players like Sterling and White completely at home.

Good feature with probably the best LW in the league. Most of his goals are spectacular and the way he analyse situations, you can tell he is super intelligent.

Claudius I think it's a tough one. As a pure winger Mitoma is head and shoulders above most of the rest of the league in beating his man, delivering a telling cross or cutting in.

People like Rashford, Martinelli etc are more like forwards on the left rather than a winger.

Clrnc It's a great mini-feature. Cliché, but the way Mitoma speaks about the first touch reminds me of Musashi's inadvertently hilarious commentaries in THE BOOK OF FIVE RINGS ... stuff such as "One must always strike first. This should be studied with care." 😅

        Feint east, shoot west.
Beseige the flanks to rescue the middle.

I love the way Szcz just stops and looks at him.
