daredevil this is a moronic comment. People weren't complaining about Saka being over played when he was 17 and getting a few glimpses here and there. They were complaining about it when he was 21/22 and playing basically every minute for us.

Qwiss and people aren't talking about him playing most of the matches anyway. It's just retarded seeing Saka play dead rubber European group matches, Europa matches previously and also seeing him come on for Carabao matches. Absolutely pointless

Salah - 4,301 minutes
Rashford - 4,305 minutes
Rodrygo - 3,853 minutes
Saka - 3,744 minutes
Silva - 3,602 minutes

On Nwaneri, it's not difficult to forecast that the more minutes a player gets at 17, the more minutes they will invariably accumulate by 21, assuming they land a starting berth. He has his entire career ahead of him and the urgency is amusing.

lorddulaarsenal funny, I came away from the Emirates on Sunday night having reached exactly that conclusion.

I'm not writing Martinelli off by any means, but even tonight you saw the difference between his 100 mile an hour bull in a China shop approach and the more surgical stylings of Saka. It's perhaps a harsh comparison cos Saka is a smarter footballer than most of them, but it's also the level we're trying to get to.

RocktheCasbah the separation is growing daily. Saka is an elite player. Martinelli is just very good.

Claudius thats fair but there are only 2 elite players on this squad, Saliba is close as well. Martinelli is only an issue as much as many others in the squad. Thats to say he isn't a problem and while he's upgradeable you'd have to move mountains to get someone better. Same goes for all the first XI who aren't Saka, Odegaard and Saliba. Maybe Raya on current form.

Martinelli has no variation in his game. Everytime he faces a defender that uses his body well he looks so basic. The dribble when he push and run and loses the ball against Pool where we conceded is so common in his game
