don't think it's been ruled out. imo the news coming out that he's our top target is an escalation of the poker game between us and wolves, which has been going on quietly for the last month or so. we're coming to the end of the window and all the noise has been about this big mystery signing. I'd expect us to make the official move soon, and put the ball in wolves court

Both sides are pushing stories out, Wolves saying they don't want to sell and our lot saying they're asking too much and need to structure the deal.

Have the same feeling. It's not the first time he's mentioned their plan and that sounds like the words of someone who's confident of seeing it executed.

It sounded to me like we've now moved on who we needed to in the past couple of months, and now it's phase 3. He sounds reasonably confident of it happening to me, and that it will go down well if it does.

That clip on Neto has made me warm to Neto. Still rather someone like Diaby but Neto is better than the initial eye test suggests. He’s able to adjust his movement mid move to evade players. Gervinho had that quality.
