I think Jesus is much less of a problem than Zinchenko in this area. That's because Zinchenko, like Xhaka, has been combining his highly variable performances and temperament with a strong ambition to lead.
As far as the City swoop factor goes, it's a lesson in not pushing back on obvious hype. We shouldn't have allowed it from a public relations perspective.
I also think we should dip less into the Etihad bargain bin. I question a bit whether Arteta's personal connections to Jesus, Zinchenko and Jorginho have helped the dressing room chemistry, and also it's limiting our football to build that way.
