So he is in Germany and therefore he isn't the arrested player? Great, and phew

Probably his PR team posting that.

It's a scheduled post. He is not with the team.

As he should be. Bissouma was playing as well for Brighton after investigation was ongoing.

What about Mendy/Greenwood?

Appreciate every case is different but let’s see if Partey travels out with the team to the States

Greenwood's case is very different, the evidence was out there for all the world to see.

Especially the audio, photos can be misleading but hearing him say all that made it impossible for Man Utd not to immediately suspend him.

Mendy played for City well after he was initially arrested and continued appearing for them until he was charged. He/they managed to actually keep the allegations quiet up until that point too.

It's hard to really speculate without actually knowing what's what. It will be uncomfortable though and it won't be a good look if he's eventually charged.

It's not a good look either way, if there are no charges you might have punished a possibly innocent man for no reason (with the likes of Bellerin and Sambi having already unfollowed him on Twitter). If he's really guilty as charged you'll have been cheering on a fucking rapist.

Just serves to distance yourself even further of the club and football, no right choice here.

I think there needs to be a bit of club discipline in terms of that unfollowing stuff. The team shouldn't be doing shit like that until they know how the clubs reacting. Guy walks back into training a few days later, its not great for the camp.

Got a bit of info on this. A good friend of my colleague arrested TP5 last week so it’s definitely him.

Apparently he’s going to get done for r ape, evidence is so clear. Also, he was having threesomes and fivesomes in his house whilst his wife was present. And some of the messages he sent were horrific.

The only way out of it is that apparently the girl is prone to being paid off but not looking good.

He reckons he won’t travel to the USA because if he gets charged it will look super bad if he has to travel back half way through the tour.

My colleague is trustworthy so he’s not the one to chat shit.

Aside from potentially making her a hostile witness, paying off the victim has no bearing on whether or not they proceed with the case, would it?

It does. Paying the victim off means making her drop her rape claims and police can't do anything about it.

Pretty much like Ronaldo and RVP

I'm not expert on UK law but what I've read is that CPS don't have to drop the case if they feel its strong enough even if the victim wants to. How likely it is they'd try to pursue it against a filthy rich footballers with no girl co-operating though I don't know.

100% they don't need cooperation from the victim. Hell in Greenwoods case I don't think anyone ever pressed charges so to speak in the first place.

It all comes down to whether or not they'd have enough evidence to prosecute and in cases of rape I guess most of the evidence goes down the drain without cooperation.

It's not murder where they can go through with it without any cooperation from the victim, other than in cases like Greenwood there's little evidence to proceed like that. They don't have to drop the case but they probably will.

Anyway how would the pigs know that the victim is "prone" to being paid off?
