Apparently she is a classic WAG and very money oriented. TP has access to all her expenses, in’s and out’s.

A lot of the conversations the copper and girl had were over money. Sometimes you just get a feel that they would be prone to get paid and drop it.

Btw I’m no ITK or ever claim I’m one so not saying this to get clout or anything (i hate that shit). Just passing what my colleague mentioned.

Is she one his side chicks or something?

Really?

100% they don't need cooperation from the victim. Hell in Greenwoods case I don't think anyone ever pressed charges so to speak in the first place.

It all comes down to whether or not they'd have enough evidence to prosecute and in cases of rape I guess most of the evidence goes down the drain without cooperation.

The word you are looking for is corroberation as opposed to cooperation.

Yeah really. Why do you ask, are you a pig?

Also if you want to correct him - cooperation isn't wrong in this case either - it's spelt corroboration

I'm not sure speculating on the specifics or background of an ongoing legal investigation is a great idea.

In terms of crimes of these nature, there has historically been a poor translation from cases coming up and being successful prosecuted and that has not always been down to the thing didn't happen but that the legal system has let many victims down.

So there is even a potential that if this didn't necessarily get progressed I wouldn't be of the view everything is fine and there was no issue.

If Arteta is really one for big principles which include being late for training is a no go from precessional stand point then I'm not sure putting yourself in these sorts of situations that impact not just your own personal situation but directly on the club surely can't be in line with what he holds people to and may spell the end of his time here.

As suspected he’s not going on the Us tour which I think is a wise decision:

Left out of the US tour. Sounds like he's suspended without being officially being suspended.

edit: mind you not travelling abroad is probably a condition of his bail.

He is on bail he can't travel.

Possibly a pre-charge bail, but even if he wasn't it would be risk to be at mercy of US authorities(visa, travel, exit), and public audiences just yet.

How do these journo's keep getting this stuff wrong?

Athletic reporting that we've said we won't be suspending him for now. Hard to know how to feel about that, but it's going to be awkward as hell.

Premier League player who was arrested for rape 'can fulfil job commitments' say club

Premier League player who was arrested for rape 'can fulfil job commitments' say club.

The Premier League club whose player has been arrested on suspicion of rape has told The Athletic it is not suspending him.

The footballer was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of rape and then re-arrested for allegedly committing two more attacks on a different woman. He denies the allegations.

Despite Mason Greenwood being suspended by his club, Manchester United, after he was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault and another club suspending a player after he was arrested on suspicion of committing child sex offences, this club, who like the player we cannot name for legal reasons, is not taking the same step.

Yves Bissouma, then of Brighton and now of Tottenham, was not suspended by his club when he was arrested alongside a man in his 40s under suspicion of sexual assault in Brighton last October.

He has since been cleared of the allegation.

Benjamin Mendy, of Manchester City, who has denied nine sexual offences against six women, played for his club until he was charged by police.

The player, who is in his late twenties but cannot be named for legal reasons, was first arrested in north London on suspicion of rape and taken into custody. He was subsequently released on bail.

The player's club said in a statement to The Athletic: “We are aware of the allegations which are currently the subject of a police investigation.

“We have confirmed that the player denies the allegations and is on police bail pending the outcome of their enquiries. There have been no charges laid and the player can fulfil his professional commitments including permitted travel.

“We take our commitments and responsibilities seriously and have followed our safeguarding policies and procedures.

“We will keep this matter under close consideration and will review further if circumstances change.”

The club's decision not to suspend the player in question comes while Greenwood remains suspended by United following his arrest on suspicion of rape, assault and threats to kill.

Greenwood was originally arrested on January 30 on suspicion of rape and assault. He was further arrested for sexual assault and threats to kill two days later. He remains on bail following a hearing in June.

A third Premier League club suspended a player last season after he was arrested on suspicion of committing child sex offences. He has since left the club.

I guess they are waiting to see what happens in August.

TBH I'm not really sure what I want them to do at this point. We just don't have enough information.

That's it for me. Until we know more, we can't really speculate.

For me, it’s clear what the club needs to do. Go into the market and get 2 starting quality midfielders. We know we need to replace Xhaka (one of Tielemans or Maddison?) And eventually Partey’s situation will resolve itself one way or another. If it’s positive, good for us, we have him back and an extra body in there for squad depth and competition. He wasn’t exactly the most durable last season anyway. If it’s a negative outcome, then we are covered as well.

The links to Kante are a bit more plausible if we are taking this approach, as the wait and see path isn’t very sensible in my view.

Agree with this.

And even innocent you wonder how well said player will be mentally coming into next season. Whatever happens it’s been a traumatic experience.

No pics or videos of said player on Arsenal SM since they arrived in the states. I guess he will either be in the team or not on Sat unless it’s been a PR exercise.

Are you Michael Owen in disguise?
