So Getafe understandably refusing to go to Milan for their match while Roma now are equally understandably refused authorisation to land in Sevilla for theirs. I just don't see this season being played to its conclusion, at least not European matches.

You can get creative, Quincy. Take a break for now. Do the last 16 and QFs. And then do the end in a final four style tournament in a a nice city like Barcelona over 5 days.

No need. They’ve booked a Saturday for the final. Just move it to a Sunday. And then hold the semis on Wednesday and Thursday. It’s actually in Istanbul. They can use the Olympic stadium and Gala’s stadium for the semis.

This virus is a bumbaclat. But Uefa needs to start getting creative now to make sure we get through the season. Clubs need to be flexible. It might mean being willing to pro-rate domestic seasons as well, maybe a 35 game season in England, for example. After 35 games, if you don’t have your shit together, you don’t deserve to go to Europe or stay up.

Roma weren't allowed to land in Sevilla, is it different in Barcelona? But yeah, they have to get creative. I actually don't think there will be a problem with the domestic leagues, just playing without spectators should be enough.

He could easily have 3-4 years left at top level and get a statue in Bergamo once he retires, Clrnc. It all depends on circumstances.

Personally I think it's charming. You used to have a lot more players like this 15-20 years ago, who didn't follow the typical career trajectory and ended up enriching the game by spending their peak at smaller clubs because of it. I just know that I wouldn't be enjoying Ilicic as much right now if he were playing for Real Madrid for instance, because I hate Real Madrid and they fucking ruin everything.

I think this is what they alluded to when discussing stadium closures over here, people will just go congregate somewhere else. People suck.
