Is it only me, by the way, or does it look like United are playing with nazi symbols on their sleeves?

Suddenly yesterday seems a lot better never thought I'd be cheering kuyt's
every touch.wonder how long they'll be without Nani?
United have started playing 2 strikers in big games now and it's not working. Hope they do the same at the Emirates.
Klaus, in his defence: it wasn't that easy to see how bad the Carragher tackle was without the benefit of the replay, and the advantage call was within the bounds of the law as I understand it - if there's no advantage, play comes back.
That's enough devil's advocacy though ...
Burnsy: True, true. I guess I'm reacting on principle more than anything else. We'd be livid if that had happened to Nasri.
Jesus, that's the most cowardly tackle I've ever seen. Brown should be ashamed of himself.

Thanks for explaining my strange psychological response to their kit today. That unintentional visual reference point really gets under your skin, but I hadn't pinpointed the reason.
United look shellshocked out there. They don't experience this very often.
I'm getting worried about our game at home against Liverpool, though. We would have crushed them a few months ago but this is a completely different team. They're going to draw a lot of confidence from this victory.
Cast your mind back to their game against West Ham Klaus.
They were awful.
They are always going to play above themselves against United at Anfield.
United's defence was putrid, any defence that allows Kuyt in for three.....
I was looking at the fixtures earlier, yeah - we will all be a bit tense round mid April. That's when (by rights) van Persie should be looking at making his return, and we'll have Liverpool at the Emirates and the NLD in the space of three or four days. Here's hoping United fans are shitting themselves and desperately hoping for us to drop points by that stage.
Oh yeah!
If we don't win this league our players should retire from football.
Great result.
Now let's get our players back and win this League!
From The Guardian's Daniel Taylor on Twitter: "MUFC say Sir Alex Ferguson not speaking to media after LFC defeat, including MUTV. Players under orders not to talk as well."
Someone throwing his toys out of the pram.

Warms the cockles of your heart that does.
Defoe scores twice, the second one is a beauty actually.
Hahaha, penalty to Wolves
... and it's 2-2!
What's up with that not being a red? Is any PL ref ever going to adjudicate that rule correctly?

That's just terrible. I'm not a big fan of Nani but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. When are they going to change the rules to make it possible to suspend those idiots for a longer period of time? Carragher didn't even get a red for it so he's back on the field next week now. Nani might miss the rest of the season.

Did you see Shawcross on Scott Parker? Only got a yellow for that

Barton didn't even get a yellow card for this one:
Dowd was the referee in that game too, in case anyone wondered.
GM: I was actually talking about the Wolves-Spurs penalty decision, but same goes for Carragher.
I can't see where the detriment to the sport lies if the refs just implement the laws as they're supposed to be understood. Carragher off and a deterrent to thuggish tackling, Hutton for trying to illegally prevent a goal. After a couple of months the players adapt and literally nothing worth having is lost ...
Decisions like this upset me more than yesterday's offside call and penalty appeal. Losing a couple of points is a blow but no where near as bad as seeing a footballer getting a broken bone because of some thug that just wants to leave their mark.
The injustice of the yellows that were and were not handed out in our match against Sunderland wound me up more than the two bad decisions on the penalty call and the offside call, but in retrospect I feel like that's just what we're going to get.
Particularly the challenge on Wilshere which was nothing more than a swipe on his standing leg from behind (think it was Muntari) and went unpunished.
It was almost as if Taylor was compensating in advance for his own belief he might be swayed by the home crowd.

Exactly! That's a clear red to the very letter of the law. He's preventing an obvous goalscoring opportunity. People always confuse that one for "the last man", which doesn't even exist. I can't believe he's been allowed to stay on while Koscielny was sent off against Newcastle for a shoulder to shoulder out on the sideline, forty yards from goal. The Premier League referees are making a downright mockery out of their profession sometimes. It's blatant that some of them don't know the rules.
Gomez drops it 3-3! come on Wolves...
Disallowed. Bloody ridiculous if you ask me.
... Spuds ...
I want Wolves to stay up.
Apparently the Wolves-Spurs game was poorly officiated?
The referee almost nicked it for Spurs. First he didn't send Hutton off for blatantly impeding a goal-scoring opportunity by tugging on Milijas, though he saw the incident in its entirety and did card him.
Then he disallowed a goal for interference on Gomes, which was a fairly soft decision.
we're the only one in the top 5 to leave molineux with all 3 points.
Just watched the Liverpool-United highlights, looked like Liverpool really did piss all over them. And I'm sorry if it makes me a bastard, but that whole Nani episode is just about the funniest thing I've ever seen. What a whiny little cry baby, imagine if he was on the end of a Shawcross special, and actually got his leg badly hurt, instead of a little gash. Hilarious reaction, which sums him up perfectly.
Well done the Scousers!
I wonder if his leg started stinging badly when he just fell to the ground in comical anguish. He was clearly in pain as he was stretchered off and not in the best frame of mind (judging by his attempts at beating up the medics trying to help him). The tackle was a red. Never want to see a footballer get injured. However, if he is injured, then maybe a few weeks of rest will do him and us a world of good.
I got the same reaction as Ricky. I really thought he was acting even when he cried though. Hilarious to see that cunt got that treatment. Would have been even better if its Rooney or Evra
Even Rooney was standing over him laughing at him, Cal. It was nothing serious at all, Nani just couldn't believe someone dare tackle him like that and threw a hissy fit. Proper little cry baby tantrum. Hilarious.
It was a disgusting challenge Ricky, regardless of whether it actually injured him badly or not.
I never said it wasn't. It was Carragher at his "best".
That doesn't change the fact that Nani reacted like a whiny little cry baby, and that it was pretty hilarious to watch him doing so.
