You had the benefit of watching it after the face though. I admit it would've been funnier if we'd known he wasn't seriously injured at the time. People spoke about a potential bonebreak when it happened, and it looked like one too judging by the footage.

Surely when Nani sprang up and ran to the referee you realised this guy hasn't had his leg snapped?
Anyway, I found it hilarious. His brilliant assist for Kuyt was nearly as funny!
Not in the sense that it was broken right off, of course, but it looked serious all the same. A fracture doesn't have to mean a full break.
In any case he's a cunt. What goes around comes around, I guess. United are screwed if he's out for any longer period of time too. I'd love to see that boring side crash and burn.
Physioroom says 15th March.
Other United players theoretically due to return in March: Park, Valencia, Anderson, Ferdinand, Evans.
You guys are heartless. The poor guy was in pain. Pain doesn't always register immediately. We know him as a diver and baby, but he was clearly hurt by a reckless challenge yesterday. Carragher is a graduate of the Flamini School of Karate

What? They're all returning to fitness?
Shit.
Valencia has been out for 6 months, so he's a non-factor. Ferdinand's a perma-crock who will never play injury free for more than 4 or 5 games again. Anderson, Park and Evans are Anderson, Park and Evans.
Not too bad.
Did Ferguson end up speaking to the press? Surely he's obligated to do so, like every other manager?
Ferdinand is the only one that worries me. The more games he misses the better, especially if one of the games he misses is at The Emirates.
Park and Valencia are good players who can win matches.
Agreed, Tim.
TG, Ferguson has not only not spoken to any form of media himself, which he is indeed obligated to do, but has banned all of his players and staff from doing so too. To me it's as clear as day what he's doing, creating a siege mentality because he knows his team probably isn't good enough to win without it.

Park is decent, but not worth fretting over. Valencia is a non-issue I reckon, cos the nature and length of his injury dictates that he's unlikely to make much of an impact in the next couple of months.
Park has scored 37 goals in his last 5 games against us. He's worth fretting over for that reason alone.
Chelsea beat Blackpool 3-1 for anyone who's interested! I take that to be very few, lol...
I wasn't interested until it dawned on me that they're 6 points behind us now with an equal amount of games played...
I won't say I'm anxious but I preferred it when they looked like total washed-ups.
