Klaus, in his defence: it wasn't that easy to see how bad the Carragher tackle was without the benefit of the replay, and the advantage call was within the bounds of the law as I understand it - if there's no advantage, play comes back.

That's enough devil's advocacy though ...

Thanks for explaining my strange psychological response to their kit today. That unintentional visual reference point really gets under your skin, but I hadn't pinpointed the reason.

United look shellshocked out there. They don't experience this very often.

I'm getting worried about our game at home against Liverpool, though. We would have crushed them a few months ago but this is a completely different team. They're going to draw a lot of confidence from this victory.

Cast your mind back to their game against West Ham Klaus.
They were awful.
They are always going to play above themselves against United at Anfield.
United's defence was putrid, any defence that allows Kuyt in for three.....

I was looking at the fixtures earlier, yeah - we will all be a bit tense round mid April. That's when (by rights) van Persie should be looking at making his return, and we'll have Liverpool at the Emirates and the NLD in the space of three or four days. Here's hoping United fans are shitting themselves and desperately hoping for us to drop points by that stage.
