Read before the WC that Barca were looking to sell Rakitic - replace him with Pogba in that midfield.

manyoo just wastes their financial advantage on garbage. back in they day when chelsea had the roman advantage they would buy players i wanted at arsenal (drogba, essien, cech, robben). other than pogba (and they had him in their academy so he's another example of waste in truth), they don't buy anyone that i would love to see at arsenal.

The transfer market was very different back then in fairness. Today a club like Southampton can get 75m for a defender so the pool of talent you can buy from has diminished greatly. 

I'm enjoying Mourinho's preseason meltdown because he can't get the players he wants which is unusual for him. He's already lining up the excuses for the coming season. I can see a panic buy or two from them in the coming days. 

Supposedly Alderweireld is done. Would be a great addition for them.

Alderweireld is about 10 times the footballer Maguire is. That's a good transfer.

That will be massive for them, but can't believe we are signing Sokratis and Vida though. How the heck?

We should have signed Alderweireld when he was at Southampton. Great player.

I'm ok with the transfer since it'll weaken Spurs and United were going to be ultra defensive anyway. Any improvement will probably be marginal.

Looks like Courtois’ out the door at Chelsea. Tabloids claim he is AWOL - literally! Pity Hazard is too professional to do something like that.

Think it was discussed in the World Cup thread but Courtois is a massive tool.
